AlinaB - February 7,'08 - The Glass Castle - Jeanette Walls

This Book is an extremely intriguing autobiography of Jeanette Walls. Jeanette vividly and unsympathetically depicts her life in poverty, making it seem strangely ordinary. She kept me wanting to read more about the strange life she led. After all, her family traveled from one location to the next in the U.S., constantly trying to avoid having to pay bills or get too deeply into trouble. This book is just fascinating, because it would seem that a person with a childhood as described in the book would never have the chance to tell the world how they had lived in black and white.
